The passing of Carman Bennett Cook, 83, of Cambridge-Narrows, formerly of Grand Manan, occurred May 1, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Laurence and Eliza (Benson) Cook, daughter, Tanya, and son, Laurence. Carman is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Green); ex-wife, Edith (Benson); daughter, Melinda Cook (Doug); grandkids, Alison, Hannah, and Wesley; as well as several cousins. By request there will be no visitation or funeral. A Celebration of Life and private interment will take place at a later date.

Born in Ripples, NB on February 12, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Bessie Mae Wood, and the loving wife of the late Paul Emile Meloche, who called Marion his Queen and always kept her happy. Marion was the kindest woman with the biggest heart. For a number of years, she owned and operated a lottery booth in Brookside Mall with her husband, Paul. Henri was a very passionate person which was evident through how he lived his life and how he treated his optometry patients and staff. His many patients often comment to his family on how they missed him after his retirement in 2001.
