It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Reynold Griffith Buck on January 16, 2022.
Reynold was born in Bromley, Kent, England, April 17th, 1944, and was the son of the late Irwin and Marjorie (Griffiths) Buck. He is survived by his wife Karen (Haswell), son Stephen Buck, daughters Lisanne Watson and Tammy Cousins, stepdaughter Angela Garnett, granddaughters Emma Floyd, Meghan Watson, Madilyn Buck, and Harper Cousins, grandsons Aiden Garnett, Luke Garnett, Ryan Buck, Noah Cousins, and Andrew Garnett, great-grandson Jack Floyd, siblings Lawrence Buck, Elizabeth Buck, Lorna (Buck) DeVillers, Donnalyn (Buck) O’Leary. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Leslie Buck.
Reynold was a Canadian Military Veteran and loved to share stories about the tanks and other military equipment he used in his service time. Following the miliary he spent the majority of his career in the food service industry beginning as a milkman and working his way up to regional sales manager.
Reynold was passionate about technology, loved making movies/videos, flying remote controlled planes and drones and spending any free time in the summers fishing on his favourite lakes and rivers.
Rennie/Dad/Poppa will be greatly missed, always remembered, and forever loved. All of us touched forever by his love, kindness, warmth, and humour. We miss you already.
Respecting Reynold’s wishes, there will be no funeral service held. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the SPCA will be appreciated by the family.
