Wanda June Elizabeth Blair

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Wanda June Elizabeth Blair (85) on October 23, 2024 in her home, surrounded by family.

Born on July 15, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Gartley and Irene (Purvis) Clark. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Blair.

Wanda leaves behind her two daughters, Misty Thomas (Frank Comeau), Dana Jo (Paul) Brownell. Her grandchildren, Cassie Thomas, Jarrod Thomas, Emma Brownell: her great-grandson, Simon Grant, her brother Gordon (Jean) Clarke, and sister Diane Fraser. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

She worked for the Liberal Association in the early 80's and 90's. In 1994, she worked for the Department of Environment until she retired in 2011.

Wanda liked to bowl. She was in a bowling league when she was younger. She liked going to Davidson Lake and Old Orchard Beach camping with her family. She also liked going to Oromocto Lake in the summer to visit with her friends. Loved boating with Fred, and fishing in their paddle boat. She loved laying in the sun.

She will be dearly missed. We take comfort in knowing that she is finally at peace. Rest now.

As per Wanda's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral.
