It is with profound sadness that the family of Dianne Faith Morgan announces her peaceful passing on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Hospice Fredericton. Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on August 7, 1957, Dianne was the cherished life partner of the late Dan Chute and the beloved daughter of the late Edward Leroy Morgan and Helen Faith (Jacques) Morgan.
Dianne’s memory will forever be treasured by her devoted children, Dennica Edgett, Jeremiah Priest, Bridget Jones, Brittany Rowan, Kirk Peterson, Chad Peterson, and Kimberly Peterson. She was the loving grandmother to Jacob, Madison, Logan, Benjamin, Isaiah, Lucas, Zachary, Morgan, Matthew, Ezekiel, Eden, and Genesis. Dianne will also be fondly remembered by her siblings, Tony Morgan (Mona), Judy Morehouse (Rick), Sonya Flemming, and Susanne Ervine (David), as well as by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Besides her parents and life partner, Dianne was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Rev. Earl and Leona (Carr) Jacques, paternal grandparents, Albert and Edna (Blizzard) Morgan and infant sister, Shelia Mae Morgan.
Dianne, cherished middle child among five siblings and mother of seven, flourished in the vibrant atmosphere amidst the daily hustle. Her caring nature shone through in every gesture and conversation, leaving a lasting mark on those she touched. Her legacy is one of boundless love, an adventurous soul, and the music of her heart. As a dedicated nurse and devoted mother, Dianne’s life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her family and caring for others.
A memorial service to celebrate Dianne’s life will be held at the Greenhill Lake Baptist Church, 40 Greenhill Lake Road, Greenhill, NB, at 6:00 pm on June 10, 2024. Following the service, there will be a light reception and fireworks at dusk, a fitting tribute to Dianne’s joyous spirit.
A private family interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery at a later time.
In Dianne’s final days, her family found solace and strength in the compassionate care of Hospice Fredericton. But for Dianne, the sanctuary of Greenhill Lake Camp was more than just a retreat; it was a cherished tradition woven into the fabric of her family’s history. For generations, the shores of Greenhill Lake have been a place of gathering, where laughter echoed through the trees and memories were etched into the very landscape.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dianne’s memory can be made to Hospice Fredericton or to Greenhill Lake Camp.
