Surrounded by family at home, Dwaine Kent Urquhart of Keswick Ridge passed away peacefully on his own terms after dealing with cancer. Amazing loving partner of Jennifer Wilkins; son of Ronald and Marie Urquhart of Pugwash NS; brother to Leslie Urquhart (Ron Jordan) and Brent Urquhart; uncle to Chase, Gracen, Holly and Kaylee of Hammonds Plains, NS; aunts, uncles and numerous cousins spread far and wide: too many to name but he loved you all even if he didn’t say it! If you had a plumbing problem and went to the local hardware store on the Fredericton northside in the last 7 years, you may have dealt with Dwaine who attempted to help many customers ‘macgyver’ solutions to their problems. It is with saddened hearts that The Leus Family announces the passing of Douglas Charles Leus in Fredericton, NB, on March 02, 2022.  He was the son of the late Walter (of Winnipeg and Montreal) and Kathleen Leus (White, of Amherst NS). Doug is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 52 years, Carole (Prystupa). They met and fell in love in Montreal and later moved to Oromocto, NB, to raise their family.  Doug and Carole had 4 children, Kelly (Pat McGuire), Michelle Shanks (Bob Peterson), Chuck Leus all of Fredericton, NB and Terry Leus of Oromocto, NB, as well as 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; siblings Wayne Leus (Gerry) of Ottawa ON, Roger Leus (Carol Strickland) of Orillia, ON, and Mary Anne Kieran of, Mississauga, ON and many nieces and nephews. It is with sadness that the family announce the passing of Jody Coralee Grimm on February 12, 2022 at Hospice House Fredericton after her courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 14, 1968, she was the daughter of Jim and Myra (Noble) Kay Jody will be missed by her husband, Hans; sons Trae Clement (Lisa) and Shane Mills; granddaughter Abby; sisters Sheila (Dave), Cindy (Ronnie), Karen (Eric), and Michelle (Darrell); brothers Freeman (Maxine), Tony (Tina), and Sam (Sharon); special niece MacKenzie, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jody loved working at Scott’s Nursery. For many years, she planted saplings and seedlings before retiring. Her love of all things outdoors, especially the sunshine, was well known to her family. Jason is survived by his daughter, Jessica; father, Victor (Glenda); brother, Joey; sister, Pam; grandkids, Xavier and Emma; stepsister, Kristin; stepbrother, Kris (Jenny); nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his wife, Kim. Jason was a quiet and humble man, who loved playing his guitar and spending time with his grandkids. Many funny made up songs about his kids and grandkids, helped him in being named the best papa ever. He also loved going to the beach and to the river.   It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Reynold Griffith Buck on January 16, 2022. Reynold was born in Bromley, Kent, England, April 17th, 1944, and was the son of the late Irwin and Marjorie (Griffiths) Buck. He is survived by his wife Karen (Haswell), son Stephen Buck, daughters Lisanne Watson and Tammy Cousins, stepdaughter Angela Garnett, granddaughters Emma Floyd, Meghan Watson, Madilyn Buck, and Harper Cousins, grandsons Aiden Garnett, Luke Garnett, Ryan Buck, Noah Cousins, and Andrew Garnett, great-grandson Jack Floyd, siblings Lawrence Buck, Elizabeth Buck, Lorna (Buck) DeVillers, Donnalyn (Buck) O’Leary.  He was predeceased by his parents and sister Leslie Buck. It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Henri S. Giasson announces his passing on December 8, 2021, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Montreal, Quebec, on May 1, 1943, he was the son of the late Albert and Jacqueline (Robillard) Giasson. Henri was a very passionate person which was evident through how he lived his life and how he treated his optometry patients and staff.   His many patients often comment to his family on how they missed him after his retirement in 2001.  He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and exploring nature on foot, boat, ATV, and truck.  He was an adventurer, driving and camping across Canada with his sons in their VW bus. Nancy will be missed by her husband of 39 years, Richard Steeves; children Angela Lynne Steeves and Lisa Dawn LeBlanc,  grandchildren Abbigail LeBlanc and Hope Smith,  beloved cat Ruby; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Nancy had a passion for animals. She spent most of her life caring for one critter or another. She had volunteered her time in her earlier years  fostering animals and caring for them when they needed a home to call their own. It is with sadness we announce the passing of Donat Savoie on November 1, 2021. Born on February 17, 1951, he was the son of the late Yvon and Laudia (Robichaud) Savoie. Donat was a retired fisherman. He loved to play his guitar and harmonica, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survived by his children Alain (Pam), Jacques (Stephanie), Jo-Anne Lagacé (Danny), Brenda-Lee Caissie (Étienne), Janice Bushey (Corey) and Toni-Shania Thorne; grandchildren Pascal, Alexandra, Nick, Dylan, Maxime, Jade, Angelik and Noah; brothers Blair (Kim), Valmond and David; a sister Flora (Gérard), as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The passing of Luc Jean Pelletier occurred on October 13th, 2021, at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on December 26th, 1960 in Edmundston, NB he was the son of Maurice and Therese. In his youth, Luc was into martial arts. A roofing contractor by trade, he loved playing his guitar, fishing, and made lifelong friends in Ontario and Edmundston. Luc will be dearly missed by his mother Therese; siblings, Rachel (Reno Charette) of Edmundston, Gilles (Louise Ouellette) of Edmundston, Lucille (Daniel Pelletier) of Fredericton, Suzanne of Edmundston, André of Edmundston and sister-in-law, Celine Thériault of Edmundston.
